Cookie policy
Updated
This information on the use of cookies is provided under article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) and the General Data Protection Regulation.
The short version: this site uses one cookie, it is technical, and it does not track you. That is why you will not see a consent banner.
This is a courtesy translation. In the event of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. They are used to remember information between pages, such as the language you are viewing the site in or whether you are signed in.
2. Cookies used on this site
| Name | Ownership | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
NEXT_LOCALE | First-party | Technical, interface personalisation | Remembering which language you are viewing the site in | Session: deleted when you close the browser |
That is all. There are no third-party, analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The site does not measure your browsing and builds no profile of any kind.
The cookie is set automatically on arrival, based on the language your browser
advertises, and updated if you switch language using the selector. It contains no
identifier of any kind: only the value es or en.
3. Why there is no cookie banner
Article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE requires prior consent to store cookies, with one exception: those strictly necessary to provide the service the user has requested. Technical and interface-personalisation cookies, such as a language preference, fall within that exception.
Since this site uses no cookie outside that category, there is nothing to consent to and no notice is shown. A banner here would be asking your permission for something that does not require permission.
4. How to delete or block it
You can delete cookies or prevent them being stored from your browser settings, usually under privacy:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
If you block this cookie the site still works normally; it will simply pick the language again on each visit, based on your browser settings.
5. Recipients and transfers
This cookie is first-party and its contents are shared with no one. Its use involves no disclosure of data to third parties and no international transfers.
6. Your rights
This cookie cannot identify you, so no personal data is associated with it. For the other processing carried out by this site, and to exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection and restriction, see the privacy policy. You do not need to attach a copy of your ID.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
7. Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated if the cookies used change, for instance if an analytics tool is added in future. Should any new cookie require consent, it will be requested before the cookie is stored. The date of the last revision appears at the top of this page.
